Grant Kudert

Grant Kudert returns to Chicago Bounce for his 7th season with the club. He is a USA Volleyball CAP I certified coach, and also coaches in the boys’ volleyball program at New Trier High School. 

 

Grant has deep ties to the Central Suburban League where he was an All Conference setter for Maine East High School, and was the head freshmen boys’ coach at East from 2008 to 2011.

 

Grant earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he studied math and physics and was a four-year member of the University’s Marching Band. At the UW, he continued to play volleyball at the recreational and intramural level.

 

As an adult player, Grant has competed at both the Regional and National level. He has played in USAV National Tournaments in St. Paul, MN and Dallas, TX.

 

Grant’s professional life has been varied and adventurous. He has worked at major science museums in Chicago and Seattle, and also spent a year living and teaching in Israel. In 2012, he earned his Master of Education degree from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. Currently, Grant is a member of the science department at Glenbrook South High School.
